3:4 crush blast rock

3/4″ Crushed Blast Rock is a compactable, angular aggregate made by blasting solid rock and then crushing it down to a consistent size. The “3/4 inch” designation means the rock pieces are typically around ¾ inch in diameter, with a mix of fines (rock dust) included. This blend of sizes helps the material compact tightly, making it an excellent choice for driveways, pathways, road bases, and under concrete slabs or pavers. The sharp, jagged edges of crushed blast rock allow it to lock together well, providing a solid, stable surface. Unlike clear rock, this product retains fines, which improve compaction but reduce drainage—making it ideal when strength and stability are more important than water flow.
